These network events are an opportunity for the school EAL champion and for staff working with EAL pupils to work collaboratively, share best practice, reflect on the assessment of EAL pupils and further develop strategies to improve provision for EAL pupils. During these sessions EAL practitioners will also be provided with the opportunity to engage in regional and national projects designed to improve academic and wider outcomes.

Following on from completing the SEND peer Reviewer Training, this half day session will support reviewers to:

  • Lead a team delivering a Peer Review
  • Develop coaching skills
  • Conduct difficult conversations
  • Conduct a SEND PEER Review in a supportive, professional and high quality way.

Please note that following training, colleagues will undertake reviews across the Trust, potentially leading a team of reviewers.
