This practical session for existing or new leaders of primary history in Astrea schools will focus on the requirements of the 2014 National Curriculum for History and how its content might need to be restructured, taking into account the challenges of the new OFSTED framework in terms of “curriculum intent” and identifying gaps in knowledge. It will look at examples of curriculum maps for Primary History as varied evidence for signs of “curriculum intent”.
